DOH-Okaloosa Issues Water Quality Health Advisory

FT. WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisory for the following locations:

Liza Jackson Park
338 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW
Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548

Marler Park
1275 Santa Rosa Blvd.
Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548

James Lee Park
3510 Scenic Hwy 98
Destin, FL 32541

Tests completed on Monday, August 19, indicate that the water quality across the various sampling sites meets the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
