DOH-Okaloosa Issues Water Quality Health Advisory March 20, 2025

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. —The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisory for the following locations:

Liza Jackson Park
338 Miracle Strip Parkway SW
Fort Walton Beach

Clement E. Taylor Park
131 Calhoun Ave.
Destin

Lincoln Park
1217 N. Bayshore Dr.
Valparaiso

Tests completed on Monday, March 17, 2025, indicate that the water quality at Liza Jackson Park, Clement E. Taylor Park and Lincoln Park does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
