DOH-OKALOOSA INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO ATTEND FREE FAMILY FIELD DAY EVENT NOVEMBER 19

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Family Field Day will be held on November 19 at Chester Pruitt Park-15 Carson Dr SE, Fort Walton Beach from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The event is hosted by the Okaloosa County Alliance for Drug Endangered Children and Communities (DEC-C).Family Field Day is being held to celebrate Family Engagement Month. The event will have kickball and tee ball games, free raffles, as well as free snow cones, hotdogs and popcorn. The first 50 families will receive a free tablet with Vroom app.

The Okaloosa DEC-C group is part of the National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (National DEC). DEC-C exists to build awareness, provide trainings and programs and offer tools related to substance use that affects children, families and our community. DEC-C is now part of the Okaloosa County Health Improvement Partnership (OCHIP) Healthy Children group.
