DOH-OKALOOSA Issues Water Quality Health Advisory

Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisories for the following locations:

Garnier’s Beach Park257 Beachview Dr. NEFort Walton Beach, FL  Liza Jackson Park342 Miracle Strip Pkwy SWFort Walton Beach, FL 
Marler Park1275 Santa Rosa BlvdFort Walton Beach, FL  Lincoln Park1217 N Bayshore DriveValparaiso, FL 

Tests completed on Tuesday, August 5 indicate that the water quality at Garnier’s Park, Liza Jackson Park, Marler Park and Lincoln Park do not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
