DOH-Okaloosa Issues Water Quality Health Advisory

Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisories for the following locations:

Garniers Beach Park

257 Beachview Dr. NE

Fort Walton Beach, FL

Tests completed on Monday, October 13 indicates that the water quality at Garniers Beach Park does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health. 

Clemente E. Taylor Park is closed and undergoing renovations. Sampling was not conducted at this site.
