DOH-OKALOOSA Issues Water Quality Health Advisory

Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. —The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisories for the following locations:
Garniers Beach Park 257 Beachview Drive NE Fort Walton Beach, FL | Marler Park 1275 Santa Rosa Blvd. Fort Walton Beach, FL | Poquito Bayou Park 4 Bay St. Shalimar, FL |
Liza Jackson Park 338 Miracle Strip Parkway SW Fort Walton Beach, FL | Lincoln Park 1217 N Bayshore Dive Valparaiso, FL |

Tests completed on Monday, October 27, indicate that the water quality at Garniers Beach Park, Poquito Bayou Park, Liza Jackson Park, Marler Park, and Lincoln Park, do not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
Clement E. Taylor is closed and undergoing renovations. Sampling was not conducted at this site.
