healthy okaloosa summer care
This sector of the Healthy Okaloosa 5210 initiative launched in June 2016 and is designed to reach children in summer care programs across the county. Healthy Okaloosa Summer Care uses a variety of evidence-based practices to help programs improve the health of their children, families and staff.  Programs are encouraged to implement sustainable policy and environmental strategies that support healthy behaviors. The DOH-Okaloosa Healthy Okaloosa Summer Care team provides education, training, resources and technical assistance to all of our partners. Partners will also receive a Healthy Okaloosa Summer Care window decal and a "Certificate of Achievement."
