Clinical services for STDs include: health history and risk assessment, physical examination, STD testing as indicated, treatment and counseling. HIV testing is offered. You will receive test results. If, at the time of your visit, the clinic doctor or nurse practitioner diagnoses that you have an STD, you will be provided treatment during the visit, or given a prescription to purchase treatment at a pharmacy. Trained counselors will talk with you about reducing your risk for getting STDs and how to prevent infections from spreading to your partners.
Evaluation for possible sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea, Chlamydia, syphilis, trichomoniasis, herpes, venereal warts and HIV is available in both clinic locations by appointment. Blood testing for herpes is generally not available. Venereal wart treatment may be available if scheduled after an assessment visit. One initial comprehensive fee covers the cost of initial evaluation and lab tests. Reduced fees are available for those below federal poverty guidelines with income verification.
Please call for same day appointment scheduling at (850) 833-9246.
