For facilities located in Okaloosa County, the regional authority is the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County. Escambia County Environmental Specialists perform inspections annually in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties with a joint inspection with a Community Health Nurse from within the county.
Licensing and Permitting for Okaloosa Facilities
Licenses and Permits (please call 850-595-6700 for fee amount) are required to be obtained for all Body Piercing Facilities. If you wish to open a Body Piercing Salon, you must contact the Florida Department of Health Body Piercing Program and the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County
