DOH-Okaloosa Issues Water Quality Health Advisory September 19

FT. WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisory for the following locations:
Garniers Beach Park
257 Beachview Dr NE
Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547
Liza Jackson Park
338 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW
Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
Tests completed on Monday, September 16, indicate that the water quality across the various sampling sites meets the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
