DOH-OKALOOSA ISSUES WATER QUALITY HEALTH ADVISORY

Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. —The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisory for the following locations:

Liza Jackson Park338 Miracle StripParkway SWFort Walton Beach  Emerald Promenade933 Whelk CourtFort Walton Beach Rocky Bayou State Park4281 Highway 20Niceville 

Tests completed on Monday, June 9, indicate that the water quality at Liza Jackson Park Emerald Promenade and Rocky Bayou State Park do not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
