The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County’s (DOH-Okaloosa) provides culturally sensitive services to meet the needs of our diverse community and to protect the health and well-being of Okaloosa County residents. This supportive environment assists our patients in taking an active role in their personal health promotion and health maintenance. We offer a variety of health education initiatives and services.
Clinical services offered at DOH-Okaloosa include:
- Family planning care
- Sexually transmitted disease (STD) evaluation and treatment
- HIV-AIDS primary care services
- PrEP services
- Breast & cervical screenings
- Pregnancy testing
- Immunizations for children
Our medical services are designed to give affordable access to medical care for insured, uninsured and underinsured clients. Patients providing qualifying income information may be eligible for reduced rates.
Other services include a pediatric dental clinic for children ages 4 through 18 who are eligible for Medicaid, at our Crestview location.
