Designed to reach children in summer care programs across the county, the Healthy Okaloosa Summer Care initiative uses a variety of evidence-based practices to help programs improve the health of their children, families, and staff. Programs are encouraged to implement sustainable policy and environmental strategies that support healthy behaviors.
The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County provides education, training, resources, and technical assistance to all of our partners.
To participate, contact 850-344-0660 or Okaloosa-SchoolHealth@FLHealth.gov.
